Janice M. Eggleston is a founding partner of The Eggleston Law Firm, a Texas Divorce Law Firm. An accomplished family law trial attorney with years of experience, her legal practice focuses on divorce, child custody, child support and other family issues.
Channeling a passion for family law, Janice is a gifted divorce lawyer helping couples and families artfully navigate through the complex and often divisive channels of divorce, pre- and post-marital agreements and child custody issues. Given the sensitive and generally emotional nature of these types of cases, Janice intensely strives to help couples resolve the issues that often plague complicated divorces smoothly and successfully, while ensuring a solution is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. She believes that it is best when two parents can mutually agree to settle a case and resolve it amicably between spouses. She also believes that, if necessary, a Texas divorce lawyer must be prepared to zealously advocate their client’s position in a courtroom. She has helped parents, both fathers and mothers, navigate the perils of dealing with a divorce or custody matter in and out of the courtroom. She understands what is at stake in a divorce or custody case.
Janice is a member of the Family Section of the Travis County Bar, Williamson County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Janice graduated with honors from Texas A&M School of Law, formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law, in Fort Worth, Texas. During her time in law school, Janice served as a Director for the school’s Innocence Project where she oversaw the investigation of actual innocence claims and post-conviction litigation. Janice graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with honors. Janice competed in taekwondo when she was younger. She received a 3rd degree black belt from the House of Discipline Martial Arts in Killeen, Texas.
Janice is married to her husband, Bryan, and they have two boys together. They met in law school and have lived in the Austin Area for about 14 years. Janice enjoys spending time with her boys, traveling with her family and loves spending time outdoors.
Janice has dedicated her practice exclusively in the area of family law serving Travis County, Williamson County, and surrounding counties in Central Texas. She has obtained extensive court room experience in the area of family law. Her areas of practice include Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Adoptions, Terminations, Family Violence, and other Family law matters.
